Cultuurnetwerk Nederland gathers, assesses and distributes information and knowledge on cultural education and offers advice to individuals and organisations working in the field. The institute has an extensive network of contacts and can boast of a library offering the full scope of information on arts and cultural education.

The information Cultuurnetwerk offers is tailored for specific audiences and is disseminated via websites, publications, print media and digital newsletters. Most publications and websites are in Dutch.

Cultuurnetwerk Nederland organises conferences for specific target groups and coordinates and stimulates research on cultural education.
